Grand Opening: Longs Drugs in Honolulu, HI

HONOLULU, HI – KZ Companies completes construction and has a Memorial Day weekend grand opening on the Nimitz Highway Honolulu, Longs Drugs store. This store is located off Nimitz Highway & Iwilei Road in the former K-Mart shopping center. The building space was a conversion of the former big box K-Mart and is now a three tenant retail shopping center anchored by Longs Drugs in the center inline space. This store had hundreds of excited shoppers on the opening weekend and also marks to be the 58th store to be opened in the State of Hawaii. The continued support and welcoming of another new Longs Drugs store by the local Hawaiian community is a testament to the amicable relationship that has been cultivated by years of building great projects.

KZ Companies breaks ground to start construction on a new Wells Fargo Bank and Chick-fil-a

LONG BEACH, CA – KZ Companies, LLC has broken ground on what was the former Hooman Toyota of Long Beach car dealership, and now is about to go vertical on building a brand new freestanding Chick-fil-a drive thru restaurant, and a new freestanding Wells Fargo Bank.  This project comes with much anticipation from not only the City, local residents and neighborhood, but also the KZ Miller Construction team, who was approved to be the General Contractor and build the project.  The joint effort has been a great testament to the synergies that the KZ Companies development expertise, and KZ Miller Construction & general contracting expertise has to offer.  The Project, currently finishing earthwork as of mid March, is anticipated to be completed with both stores open by late summer this year.  Stay tuned for further updates.
